About the Business:
With over two decades of experience, Laura Chapman, Realtor at The Home Shop, has made it her mission to bring integrity, advocacy, and genuine care to every real estate transaction. Since earning “Rookie of the Year” in 2003–2004, Laura has gone on to earn her GRI designation, Negotiation Expert, and Divorce Specialist certifications — a testament to her commitment to serving clients at the highest professional level.

What Inspired Her:
Laura’s passion for real estate was born from personal experience — one that she’ll never forget. Years ago, when her husband Phil was serving as a Navy SEAL, they purchased a home sight unseen in Tennessee. What followed was a nightmare of hidden termite damage and dishonest disclosures — a hard-earned lesson that shaped Laura’s mission in her career: “No crying in real estate.”
She vowed that no buyer or seller under her guidance would ever face the stress or heartbreak she once did. Since then, she’s dedicated herself to being a true advocate for her clients, ensuring transparency, education, and trust in every deal.

Why She Loves Providence:
Laura has been part of the Providence community since 2015 and calls it one of the most dynamic, well-designed areas in Las Vegas.

“With over 18,000 Realtors in Nevada, it can be hard to stand out — but my micro-impact is my 24 years of experience and deep local knowledge,” Laura says. “I track Providence’s real estate trends daily so I can provide accurate insights and guide my clients with realistic market information.”
She loves that Providence offers something for everyone — from gated communities and rooftop-deck homes to cozy condos and sprawling ranch-style properties — all within one beautifully planned neighborhood.

Favorite Local Spot:
Laura and her family are big fans of Diego’s Farm.
“It’s so wonderful to have a family-owned restaurant nearby,” she says. “We go there several times a month — you’re always greeted with a warm smile, and the food and service are fantastic. I can’t praise them enough!”
