Construction is currently underway at the corner of Grand Teton & Hualapai, a project that will include a city park and an LVMPD substation next to the Green Valley Grocery.
In response to resident concerns—particularly regarding early morning noise—the contractor has adjusted construction start times to approximately 7:30 a.m. Residents had complained construction was starting with loud jackhammering at 6:30 a.m. The city has confirmed that they are actively addressing community feedback.
Important safety reminder: Residents are asked not to enter or wander onto the construction site. Heavy equipment is in use, and entering the site poses a serious safety risk. If you have questions, concerns, or complaints, please do not approach workers on-site.
